Group Classes in 2010 will be listed as they become available. Most classes are Saturday mornings or Sunday evenings. If you are interested in classes and would like to be updated on new and/or upcoming classes please complete the form below. Classes are currently being held at my home in Baytown, TX. My son, Philip, will need to nurse intermittently.

How to Sign Up for Group Classes and Private Instruction
The HypnoBirthing® program includes 12 hours of class time, 4 (3) hour classes. The fee for the group classes (3-5 couples) is $300. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. The balance is due prior to or when you attend your first class, all is payable by check or PayPal (see Pay Online page; NOTE: all PayPal transactions have an additional 3% processing fee). Class enrollment is on a first pay, first reserve basis. The classes generally fill a couple weeks in advance. There are occasionally cancellations. To ensure your placement, it is best to sign up early to save your spot. Many couples are enrolling months in advance. Your deposit reserves your space and allows for the purchase of your class materials. The program fee covers the entire program for mother and birth companion: deposit, all sessions/classes, the textbook "HypnoBirthing® - The Mongan Method" by Marie Mongan, an audio relaxation practice CD, Rainbow Relaxation CD, class handouts, taxes and shipping fees.

Note that in the event there are less than 3 couples scheduled to take the class, the class may be canceled. In that event, you will be offered another class, or will be refunded the deposit, minus materials and shipping ($30).

In addition to group classes, private instruction is offered. There are two private options. The first option-Standard Private-is (3) 2-3 hour sessions. The second option-Intensive Private-is a one day 5-6 hour intensive session.  The Intensive Private is reserved for mothers who are 35+ weeks pregnant and cannot feasibly attend many classes or for those traveling a great distance.  The Standard Private option is $500 and the Intensive Private is $400.  Both fees include instruction for mom-to-be and her birth companion(s), textbook, practice CD, and class handouts.  To reserve your spot for any of the private classes, you must complete the registration form below and then Jamie will contact you to discuss availability. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to book your private class(es), with the balance due at the time of your first appointment.

In the event that you are unable to financially afford to sign up for the classes or if you need to schedule a payment plan, other than outlined, please contact Jamie directly.

There are two steps to sign up for group classes:

1. Class deposit submitted ($100 non-refundable). This deposit reserves your space for a group class and allows HypnoBirthing Experience to purchase your class materials. The deposit may be paid by credit/debit card through our online store using PayPal (+3% transaction fee) or by making a check payable to: Jamie Marancenbaum (please contact us for the mailing address and to notify us that you will be making your payment via USPS).  All returned checks will be assessed a $25 fee. The balance of your program fee must be paid prior to the first day of class. If you are not satisfied with the program after the first class, you can be refunded (minus deposit). 
2. Complete the REGISTRATION FORM (listed below) indicating your preferred type of class, contact information and planned birthing details. This must be completed when you pay your deposit.  Please note in the comments section if you are registering during a discount special.
3. NOTE: You must agree to the terms of the this class to officially enroll, by agreeing please check the box at the bottom of the form. "I hereby state that I am enrolling in the HypnoBirthing class of my own free will and with the understanding that this is a program designed to teach me to use my own natural abilities to bring my mind and body into a state of relaxation. I further understand that the content of these classes is in no way intended to be represented as medical advice nor as a prescription for medical procedures. I am aware that I should seek the advice of a health-care provider to answer any health related or pregnancy related issues surrounding my pregnancy, labor and birth. I therefore agree that I will no way hold the instructor of HypnoBirthing classes or the HypnoBirthing Institute, its owners, or its representatives responsible for any special circumstances that could arise as a result of my pregnancy, labor or birth; and I agree that neither I nor any member of my family will make any claim or initiate any lawsuit against any of the above-named parties now or at any time in the future."
